Staying At Ffynnon Oer & Getting here
You can book a stay at Ffynnon Oer through Airbnb.com. Our pages on Airbnb give location details and descriptions of the amenities and pricing. Our pages also have loads of photos and comments from guests. You can stay either in the main house, known as Uchaf, or the smaller side (during an earlier era it was the stable), called Isaf. Isaf is known as the romantic two-person (plus a dog) side of the house. Isaf is open for guests year around. Book your stay in Isaf.

The main side of the house, Uchaf sleeps five. Uchaf is only open to the public in July, August and early September. Ffynnon Oer Uchaf is open during the winter only for Christmas and New Year. Because of the limited availability book well in advance to assure your holiday. Book your stay in Uchaf.
Driving The best way to get here is through the Brecon Beacons National Park. Take the M4 West to junction 32. Take the A470 north towards Merthyr Tydfil. You will shortly see a spectacular castle on the right side, above on the hill. This is Castle Coch. Continue on the A470 to Brecon. Enjoy the spectacular scenery. (Go to our page on “Drives”) In Brecon take the A40 west towards Llandovery. Head slightly south out of Llandovery to the A482. The A482 comes up rather abruptly at Llanwrda. It is a sharp right turn. (You are now traveling through the Cambrian Mountains. Beware of suddenly narrowing roadways.) Take the A482 to Lampeter. As you come into Lampeter you will immediately see the Co-Op. This is the best place to stock up on groceries. After filling up with supplies, continue into Lampeter, at the first roundabout take the right exit along College Street paralleling the university. Go straight through the next roundabout. Continue along this road, the A482 (known as the Lampeter/Aberaeron road), to Temple Bar. There is a pub on the corner called the Fronfellan Arms. Turn left. The next hamlet is Ffynnon Oer. We are the first house as you enter the hamlet. Actually, you really can’t miss us as we are the only house under thatch.
We hope to see you soon. Our address is Ffynnon Oer Uchaf Ffynnon Oer Temple Bar SA48-7SA
