to Keith Payne, Alex, Daniel, and Paul of West Country Thatchers for saving our roof!  Keith worked with me over the previous three years patching as we planned the best way to replace the roof that was rapidly turning to compost.  Here we are planning at a local pub.

We decided the best plan of action was to spread the cost out over two seasons.  Spring 2014 was dedicated to replacing the thatch at the front of the house as it was leaking. In order to keep it looking tidy from the road, Keith suggested replacing the gable ends during the first phase.

In the spring of 2015 we will complete the project by replacing the roof at the back.

The team stayed here in Isaf and Uchaf for the week.  They seemed to have a good time as their Facebook page demonstrates.
